For the first time since the championship started in 1991, Nigeria’s Super Falcons returned home empty-handed after Cameroon beat them 1-0 in the third place match on Sunday. Cameroon lost 2-1 to Nigeria in the group stage so the third place victory was a sweet revenge for them.
